"Mothers for Peace" Media Campaign

The Sigma Delta Phi Alumnae Association is part of the Mothers for Peace collaborative project advocating peace initiatives on the Mindanao problems to achieve national progress. The SDPAA is included in the nationwide TV, radio and print advertising materials.

The project demonstrates our relevance as a socially responsible organization, as it also promotes our Sorority. Launched last July, the campaign is on-going.

To quote from the FROM THE STANDS column of Domini M. Torrevillas in Philippine Star on September 18, 2003:

" The role of p.r. girl Mila Allora in conceptualizing the campaigns was cited. Mila, a Sigma Deltan, has gotten her sorority sisters involved in the peace movement, including Ces Drilon, Linda Gamboa, Vee Sese, Jing Gecolea, and Maripaz Tagle Chua."
