OFELIA GELVEZON-TEQUI ’59
According to art critic and historian, Flaudette May V. Datuin, Ofie has been praised not only for her artistic consistency and robust iconography but also for the exacting nature of her prints. She has, says art critic Reuben Cañete, had a long history of working within, and triumphing over, the tradition-bound institutions of her male-dominated field.
